Cat...no, bunny nap

I've tried just about every method imaginable to cure my insomnia, but still nothing proves successful. Perhaps my sleep pattern is just a symbol of my life...what are you getting at here insomnia? Try, fail, try, fail, try....success where art thou? Why is it that no matter how much I tire myself out in the day (hey, searching for jobs on craigslist while feasting on candy corn can be pretty exhausting!) I still cannot fall asleep though. I feel tired, I lay down and am in fact tired, too tired to read or get up and do something productive, but I never actually fall asleep. My brain is like a constant TV, but good shows usually aren't even on...it's like being forced to watch old re-runs of lame sitcoms in fact, the trivial and humdrum facets of life dominate most of my night. The same thoughts, worries, daydreams. Enough is enough. My current problem could be solved, I really do believe, If I get a pet bunny. You see this is my present hang up. It's all I want and all I can think about. I really wanted to get a pet baldwin when i lived in San Diego (a hairless guinea pig), but the last were sold two days before I got to the pet store and since they are so rare I was out of luck and in tears. A bunny is my next choice, well the only option Dad will consider, and I have everything planned out-- from a bunny run in the backyard, to the carousel I will build for it, and walks using a leash or pushing it in a stroller when it's too tired. I will read to it and teach it colors and shapes and how to grow up big and strong. Also, I would like to go to the pumpkin patch and pet the goats and get a pumpkin. Life will be so simple once I can reach these all too distant seeming goals. Pray for me :-)
